![]() ![]() Some things I noticed when doing this are: I read where someone said they couldn't "repair" an old Outlook Yahoo account and you have to start from scratch. Something went wrong - we couldn't logon to the IMAP server I then hit NEXT, and it says "getting things ready" and eventually comes back with and uses the same settings as my incoming mail server My outgoing server DOES require authentication (ie checked) does NOT requireSecure Password Authentication (ie un-checked) User name: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** My Outlook settings I am using (an old Yahoo Outlook account I am trying to fix) are: Yahoo is setup for 2-factor authentication, and I generate an app password for Outlook Desktop, and use that password when creating the account in Outlook (even though when you close the app password box, it lists it as an Outlook Android app password). ![]() ![]() I have read heaps of items and articles, but it still won't connect. I cannot my Outlook (Office 365 Home) to a Yahoo account. ![]()
